Francis turbine losing effectiveness from day to day wear and tear. Turbines were very damaged and lost metal thickness in areas of high abrasion. Turbines were repaired with Taurus TX5 and has been continuously working for 1440hrs with minimal wear to the product.
Expectations are that the turbines will work another 4 months before the next maintenance touch-up. Customers are very happy with the increase in mean-time between repairs.
