OCCURENCE
The feed area of the conveyor shows pitting corrosion due to chemical attack.
OBJECTIVE
Surface preparation with abrasive blasting SA 2 1/2 and application of Dura-Coat® Rebuild Fast 151 with a DuraCoat® Metal 400 finish.
Sharp edges were smoothed using a metal grinder, and Taurus T59 was applied with a spatula, followed by Taurus TS2. The coating was completed with an estimated thickness of 5mm.
