The high-pressure water lance in the primary crusher was experiencing extreme abrasion in a high-temperature environment. Taurus TX5-HT is a two-component epoxy resin resistant to abrasion, impact, and temperature. With its quick curing time of 1 hour, the repair was completed swiftly, and it lost only 10% of its mass after 45 days in operation. This allows continuous operation of the equipment, where previously maintenance would have been necessary.
