Leaking Pipeline
This report presents the application of the Taurus Bandage Ultra Kit, an advanced leak repair system for pipelines, designed for fast and safe interventions, even under active pressure. The purpose of the intervention was to restore the operational integrity of the line in a short timeframe, without requiring a full process shutdown.

Operating Conditions
The pipeline had an active leak, which required an immediate solution. The system was operating under high pressure and elevated temperature, making it impossible to perform welding or conventional repairs without interrupting operations.
Product Used
The ultra pipe repair kit for pressurized lines consists of:
- Roll of Fiberglass Tape
- Roll of Self-Fusing Tape
- Fast-curing Epoxy Stick
- Pair of latex gloves
Application Procedure
- Isolation and surface cleaning of the affected area, removing any loose contaminants.
- Installation of the Epoxy Stick composite directly over the leak area for initial containment.
- Immediate application of the self-fusing tape, ensuring continuous compression over the repaired area.
- Fiberglass tape is applied with fast curing of the material, completing the process in approximately 30 minutes.
- Visual inspection and operational verification of the line.
