Flotation Cell – Copper Mine – Chile
The flotation cell channel was coated with TX2 and TS2 to protect the metal substrate from chemicals and abrasion.
Taurus TX2 was applied as the base layer. This serves as a thick, abrasion-resistant coat while maintaining strong chemical resistance.
Then, Taurus TS2 was applied as the final layer to provide a smooth finish. Since TS2 also offers high abrasion resistance due to its high density of microceramics, it is the perfect final coating, offering durability, high efficiency (because its surface energy is lower than that of concrete and metal), and a smooth finish.
